Concert: St Peter’s Church, Shaftesbury

An evening of music was enjoyed at St. Peter’s Church Shaftesbury on Wednesday 1 March, when 30 musicians gave a wonderful concert performing a wide range of music. Camerata began the concert with Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on ‘Greensleeves’, followed by superb solo performances from Loughlin T, Jasmine W, Finn K, Sancha H, Anna S, Evelyn C, Mimi R, Ruihan BS and Alex G. The chamber group played Schubert’s Piano Quintet opus post 114, Allegro Vivace and the Vocal Ensemble rounded the concert off with a splendid arrangement of Goodnight Sweetheart.
