A record year for English Speaking Board exams

In March 16 Bryanston pupils completed their English Speaking Board (ESB) certificates and achieved outstanding results.

The ESB qualifications focus on effective communications skills and pupils undertake a number of activities as part of a group, including giving a prepared presentation, reading aloud and taking part in an open discussion. Candidates are also assessed on how well they support and interact with each other through listening to and engaging with each other’s presentations. Pupils taking part in the exams come away having learnt from their own research and from each other and feeling more confident in their skills.
