Our Bryte Lights initiative recognises the incredible efforts our colleagues make at Bryanston. The peer-nominated scheme rewards support staff at Bryanston and Bryanston Prep for an outstanding contribution: a clear example of going the extra mile for the School.
Last night, we held the Bryte Lights Dinner at Bryanston Prep for finalists. A sensational dinner was followed by an awards ceremony, with the winner for the past year announced as Sarah Scott, HR Assistant.
Finalists included: Scott McClue (Yard Manager), Kate Smith (Domestic Assistant), Chantelle Cottrell (Marketing & Brand Manager), Jaynie Laird (Sales Assistant), Elizabeth Markess (Bryanston Prep Chef Manager), Jess Lutwyche (Head of Estates), Emily Nineham (Sports Centre Assistant) and Jodie Denton Smith (Accountant).
Support staff were invited to nominate a colleague for their contributions for the Spring, Summer and Autumn term, and were under no obligation to nominate someone from their own team. A committee, made up of a diverse cross-section of support staff then decided who should be nominated for an award. All nominations were considered on a merit basis.
The awards were compered last night by Head Richard Jones. The initiative launched in 2021, with last year’s winner announced as being Karen Wiggs, Domestic Assistant in Housekeeping.
Huge congratulations to everyone that was nominated and for those that reached the finals. It was a superb evening of celebration for everyone that works so hard to make Bryanston such a brilliant place to work.
