On Sunday 27 September, pupils and staff from across the School will be taking part in a 10k hike in aid of three local children’s charities:
- Mosaic - a Dorset-based charity supporting bereaved children and young people, their families and professionals working with them
- Julia’s House - a children's hospice charity dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across Dorset and Wiltshire
- Teddy 20, a charity that provides support for children with cancer and their families.
As a school, we have done this walk a number of times before but thought it would be a lovely occasion for pupils and staff to reconnect as a community in a socially distanced way while also raising money for good causes.
We have set up a JustGiving page and we would be hugely grateful if you felt able to donate some money to these very worthwhile causes, all of which have struggled to raise vital funds during the Covid crisis.
