James Ralphs

Head of Sixth Form

James Ralphs is Bryanston’s Head of Sixth Form and Teacher of Geography. Responsibilities include overseeing the academic progress of the Sixth Form, as well as the enrichment and future aspirations of A3 and A2 pupils at Bryanston. He is responsible for guiding sixth formers through the university application process.

Outside of his Sixth Form role, James teaches GCSE and A level Geography, as well as coaching both tennis and hockey. He has been a residential member of Dorset House for the last four years.

In his spare time, James has a keen interest in sport – having played rugby, hockey, tennis and cricket during his school days. Whilst at The University of Bath, he continued to play hockey on a regular basis. He also loves to travel and make the most of the school holidays.
