Bryanston is well known for the quality and variety of its food, which is prepared with great care by the award-winning catering team. All pupils eat together in the School’s dining hall, which is served from a central kitchen on a cafeteria system.
Menus are appetising and well balanced and include meat, fish and vegetarian dishes from the main counter, a ‘chef’s theatre’ providing stir fry, tortillas, omelettes and other dishes cooked to individual taste, a ‘light bites’ counter, freshly made soups, jacket potatoes, self-service salads, a choice of desserts and ample fresh fruit.
In the evening, interest and variety are enhanced by international ‘theme nights’.
The chefs are able to cater for a range of dietary requirements including gluten-free, vegan etc and all pupils have the opportunity to comment on what they receive or would like to receive through regular meetings of the Food Committee.
In addition to the dining hall, there is a café serving soft drinks and snacks, which is open to pupils and staff throughout the week and is a popular meeting place in the evenings and at weekends.
