Careers support

We support pupils with advice and research to enable them to make the best choices for their future beyond the School.

Thinking about the future begins early at Bryanston and pupils start to receive careers support at the end of the first year, when they make their GCSE choices.

During their final GCSE year, pupils can enrol in the Morrisby profiling scheme, which helps with the choice of AS/A level or IB subjects by assessing an individual’s aptitudes and interests. This scheme provides help and guidance until the age of 23.

A range of events is on offer during the sixth form, including the annual Higher Education Day, workshops with visiting overseas universities and interview practice sessions. Our aim is to enable pupils to meet and speak directly to experts or trainees from a range of professions, so that they build a picture of the competitive realities of the labour market; giving them the chance to get independent and impartial advice from those with day-to-day experience and gaining a sense of the different roles, responsibilities and career paths available.

Beyond Bryanston

Our active alumni programme also supports OBs with careers networking after they have left school, whether through LinkedIn groups or events offering an opportunity to meet other OBs in their industry sector.
