Start of the Autumn term in D
Pupils enrol and then start to participate in activities for the skill and physical sections. Pupils will have the opportunity to take part in one term of Pioneering, which will count towards their volunteering activity section.
Timescales
- Skill: 3 or 6 months
- Physical: 3 or 6 months
- Volunteering: 3 months
Pupils must commit an average of at least one hour a week to each of the sections during the timescale.
Commitment and responsibility
The School requires that all pupils will have completed the skill and physical sections by the end of the Spring term, before they can qualify for the expeditions.
Registration
Please complete and submit the online consent form via My School Portal under Parent Information and Outdoor Consent Forms so that we can register pupils onto the DofE programme. They will then receive their login details to access their online logbook.
Costs
Registration: £25.50 added to the Autumn term bill
Expeditions: £95 added to the Summer term bill
Walking expedition dates 2023-2024
Details of this year's expedition dates can be downloaded below. Pupils must have completed the Skill and Physical sections in order to qualify for the expeditions.
