Bryanston Young Enterprise companies enter the Dragons' Den

On Thursday night our four Young Enterprise companies travelled to Kingston Maurward in Dorchester to take part a preliminary Dragons' Den presentation of their concept ideas and business plans.

Six local business representatives quizzed each team, before offering their investment to their favourite ideas.

Of the 21 companies taking part in the region, two of Bryanston's companies picked up the most investment from the Dragons. Some very professionally delivered presentations came from all our companies, but especially well done to both:

  • The ‘Choons’ team (presented by Olivia Wallis, Anna Jennings, Bronte Standen McDougal & managing director Imi Angel) who secured £50 of investment to develop their silicon spoon that combines a spoon head with a pair of chopsticks.

  • The ’Bucket that Bell’ team (presented by Rosie Luther, Rossie Mayhew, Izzy Fairhurst and managing director Nancy Studholme) who secured £125 of investment to develop their matching, patterned trousers & bucket hats clothing line.

Well done to all involved and we look forward to seeing them move on the the next stage - the regional preliminaries on Thursday 12 March.
