Another impressive year for Bryanston's largest ever IB cohort

Please note that the figures stated below have been updated (as of 21 August) in light of the revised exam results for IB pupils.
Bryanston’s largest ever IB cohort are celebrating an average score of 34 points. 89% of Bryanston’s IB pupils achieved 30 points or above, while 52% achieved 35 points or above.
Many pupils gained 7s (the highest grade) in Art History, Biology, Economics, English, French, German, History, Latin, Maths, Spanish and Visual Art.
IB Coordinator Jo Strange commented: “These results were, because of the Covid-19 crisis, based on internal assessments, coursework and predicted grades. As such, they represent much of the hard work that this group put in over the duration of the course and I’m delighted for them.”
Headmaster Mark Mortimer also praised the IB pupils: “The IB is a world class qualification, but it is demanding and to get such good grades shows how hard these young people have worked from when they began their studies in A3 to the moment schools were closed in March. They should be proud of what they have achieved and can now face the next stage of their academic careers with all the self-confidence and belief that the IB provides.”
