Pupil performs ARSM concert

James FR gave a superb ARSM Recital to a very large audience (and his mother via video-link!) in the Elder Concert Hall on Thursday 18 January.
The programme was as follows:
Lord God of Abraham from Elijah by Mendelssohn. Songs of Travel – The Vagabond, Let Beauty Awake and The Roadside Fire by Vaughan Williams. Finzi’s Let Us Garlands Bring – V: It Was a Lover and his Lass and I: Come Away, Come Away Death by Quilter from Three Shakespeare Songs. Schumann’s Dichterliebe Nos 1-3 – Im wunderschonen Monat Mai, Aus meinen Tranen spriessen and Die Rose, die Lilie, die Taube. Sleep from Five Elizabethan Songs by Gurney and finally, Severn Meadows also by Gurney.
The whole recital was accompanied by Graham Scott.
We all wish James very well with his ARSM exam later this term.
