B Music Scholars' Concert

The B Scholars’ Concert took place on Wednesday 22 February in the Elder Concert Hall.
Sumei BS started the concert by singing Ergiti, amor by Scarlatti. Kate S followed with a performance of JS Bach’s Concerto in A minor BWV 1041. Freddie F followed her naturally with the same piece but the second movement, Andante. Luca S played Grieg’s Nocturne Op. 54 on the piano. Clara W performed La plus que lente by Debussy on the clarinet. Sumei returned to perform Poulenc’s Sonata for Flute and Piano - I. Allegretto malincolico. Freddie returned to finish the superb concert by performing Debussy’s piano piece, Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum.
Well done to all the pupils who performed and thank you to the accompanists, William Ings and Graham Scott.
