Pupils perform festive Carol Concert in the Church
Published: 24 January 2017
On the final Tuesday of term support staff and families were welcomed to the St Martin's for a carol concert provided by the Amaris Choir, New York Tour Choir and Saxophone Quartet. The concert began with Tara CR singing the first verse of Once in Royal David’s City followed by the Amaris Choir’s performance of Bob Chilcott’s Mid-Winter. The congregation also enjoyed readings, several pieces performed by the Tour Choir, in preparation for their concerts in New York. There was also another performance by the Amaris Choir and the Saxophone Quartet. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all and was a great start to the festive period.
You can listen to a selection of the carols from the service here.
