Junior String School Summer Concert

On Saturday 2 July, the Bryanston Junior String School under Christina Scott's direction, gave it's summer concert performance in the Elder Concert Hall.

The concert opened with the Junior String Players performing Bow Rock by Wilson/ Ranger and then Stinkbomb Surprise by Lumsden and Attwood.  This was followed by the Junior String Orchestra performing two movements from Corelli's Christmas Concerto with different soloists for each of the movements.  The Junior String Players then joined the String Orchestra for the final item which was an arrangement of Turning Point by Longfield.

All the young players rose to the occasion of performing in front of friends and family and are to be particularly congratulated on performing the challenging last piece to such a high standard.
