Danceband at Thomas's Battersea Prep School

On Tuesday 3 February, the Bryanston Dance Band travelled up to London to perform at Thomas’s School, Battersea.
When we arrived, we performed to the school’s younger pupils (years 3-5) a particular highlight being their enthusiastic audience-participation in “Arriba”. Following that, we held a workshop for Thomas’s most musical older pupils, in which they played amongst our own band. The culmination of this event was a performance to older pupils and their parents, featuring the workshop pupils in the middle of the concert who joined us for performances of “Chameleon” and “Arriba”. The concert was received very well indeed and we look forward to working with the Thomas’s schools again in the future. We were all treated to a Pizza at Pizza Express before returning on the coach to Bryanston. Thank you to Thomas’s, Battersea for being such fabulous hosts.
