MUSICIANS AWARDED PLACES AT TOP UK MUSIC COLLEGES

Sixth form musicians Kate S and Amadea D-G have been awarded places at two of the UK’s most prestigious music colleges.

Kate, a violinist who won Pro Corda’s Chamber Musician prize last summer, is thrilled to have chosen Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, having had several offers to consider. Amadea recently played a Mozart Horn Concerto in London with the school orchestra. From September 2019, she will be studying in London at the Royal College of Music.

Director of Music, Stephen Williams, said: "Everyone is thoroughly delighted that their hard work has paid off. They are both highly dedicated - not just to their individual progress - but also to a great number of the school’s choirs and ensembles."
