Bryanston sixth former wins prize in national flash fiction competition

Congratulations to A2 pupil Tuesday D on claiming second prize in the 2016 National Flash Fiction Youth Competition.

The annual National Flash Fiction Youth Competition is organised by the University of Chester’s Department of English and the International Flash Fiction Association (IFFA). Pupils aged 16-19 from across the UK submitted short stories, each no longer than 360 words, and we were delighted to hear that Tuesday’s story Cut has been awarded second prize, for which she receives a £75 Amazon voucher.

You can read Tuesday’s winning entry on the University of Chester website here.
