Pupils enjoy a busy History of Art trip to Italy
Published: 24 February 2017
Thirty pupils and four staff undertook a very successful art history study trip during the half term break to Florence, Padua, Venice and Bologna.
During the trip they saw many of the greatest works of medieval, Renaissance and modern art and architecture. They climbed cathedrals, took boats down canals, delved into gelato, sampled the perfect tagliatelle (following the proportions of the great Tower in Bologna, according to Mr Dunne) and filled their sketch books with drawings and notes on all that they saw.
We, the staff, were sincerely impressed at the enthusiasm and commitment of this particular group, a credit to the
Bryanston community.
