Performance of Alice is a hit

Bryanston pupils presented a superb performance of Alice last week.

Clara W, who was on stage for nearly the entire performance, did a fantastic job of playing Alice, as did the full cast, who all worked hard throughout the term. As did the technical and design staff, Stuart, Jezz, Nick, Tim and Rowena; the pupil stage crew with Abby H leading them as stage manager; Esther McNeill with continuous support and creativity; Duncan Emerson who wrote some of the music; and also those in the cast who worked hard backstage on all the small but vital set changes.

This was one of the most challenging shows Bryanston has recently staged from both a technical and backstage point of view and the Coade Hall staff were very impressed with Ruth P and her team backstage. Finally, the make-up girls really did us proud, showing real initiative in the Bryanston way - they did all their planning independently, then turned up and got cracking.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved and we hope those of you who came to watch it had a wonderful time and enjoyed the twists of the modern-day version.
