OB to run London Marathon in aid of Action for Hearing Loss

OB Ellie Hayward (Hn '14) is running the London Marathon for a charity called Action for Hearing Loss.

The charity supports individuals with varying degrees of hearing loss and tinnitus and supports research into improving treatment for, and management of, these conditions. Ellie is really excited to be raising money for this charity, as she has a hearing impairment necessitating the use of two hearing aids and suffers with tinnitus. Ellie is therefore very aware of the impact that hearing loss and tinnitus can have on an individual.  Ellie wants to raise awareness of these conditions and how everyday situations can present many challenges for individuals with a hearing impairment and/or tinnitus.

Ellie would be extremely grateful for any donations – big or small – all of which will help her to reach the target of £1850 and spur her on as she attempts to run the London Marathon on Sunday 22 April and, most importantly, will provide valuable resources for Action Aid on Hearing Loss, thereby helping individuals with hearing loss and/or tinnitus.
