Our first OB and FBM Carol Service was a wonderful occasion
On the evening of Monday 4 December, the Bryanston family came together in the City of London for a carol service at St Vedast-alias-Foster Church.
The School Chaplain, the Reverend Canon Andrew Haviland, led the 45-minute service of readings and traditional carols sung by the congregation. We were delighted to have OBs from a range of years agree to read for us at the service, finishing with the final reading from the wonderful Mr Hardy (Peej). We were also joined by OB Rosie Goodall and her group, Cinque, a quartet of singers who performed throughout the evening, including a beautiful rendition of Silent Night. After the service, Mike Thorne and catering staff from Bryanston served mulled wine and mince pies.
It was lovely to see such a mixture of OBs, former staff, current and former parents, and friends at the service. For some of them, it was their first time attending a Beyond Bryanston event and we hope to see you all again at next year’s service or at another event throughout 2018.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
