OB Rugby Reunion 1975-1985

On Saturday 23 September, OBs, friends and family came together to celebrate rugby at Bryanston from 1975-1985.

The sun shone on this wonderful occasion for our guests.  They started the day with a talk by Master i/c Rugby, Paul Dunne and our medical staff on the continuing improvement in concussion management.  We then made our way to the pitches, to have a wonderful lunch in Hawker and this was a great opportunity for everyone to catch up with each other, as some of the OBs hadn’t seen each other for 40 years.

On every pitch surrounding the pavilion a rugby game was taking place between Bryanston and Downside, giving the OBs a chance to wonder round and have a look at all the different teams playing.  Everyone then came together to watch the first team play and even though the score was not what we had hoped for, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

A tour of phase one of the redevelopment of the sports centre was next on the agenda, followed by a tour of school.  We then gathered in the boathouse for a beer and curry supper to end this amazing day.

We hope you enjoy the photos, which you can see here.
