Pupils benefit from new kayaks

We are delighted to receive nine new kayaks for use in the swimming pool.

We are delighted to receive nine new kayaks for use in the swimming pool. The new kayaks have been funded by the Bryanston Parents’ Association (BPA) and replace boats that had been in use for well over a generation.
The boats will be used as part of extra-curricular activities to help pupils learn how to Eskimo roll their kayak, as well as practise different paddling techniques in the safety of the swimming pool before taking these skills out onto the river. Pupils in C will also benefit from the use of the new kayaks as part of their timetabled adventure training throughout the year.
We are very grateful to the BPA for funding the new kayaks and are looking forward to seeing them put to good use by pupils.
