D&T pupils recognised as future leaders in Engineering

The Design & Technology Department is delighted to announce that Ben M, Angus P and Christopher A have all been recognised by the Arkwright Foundation for their outstanding commitment to design and engineering. Each of them deserves praise for showing the potential to become a ‘future leader in engineering’.

The Arkwright Scholarships are awarded to high-calibre 16-year-old students, following a rigorous selection process, and support them through the two years of their A levels. An Arkwright Engineering Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship of its type in the UK and aims to inspire and nurture school-age students to be the country’s future leaders of the engineering profession. Congratulations to Ben, Angus and Christopher on their achievement.
