C and D scholars concert
The C and D scholars combined forces to perform a charty concert at All Saints Church, Langton Long on Wednesday 11 May at 7.30pm.
Luca S began the concert with the trumpet piece Rondo for Lifey by Bernstein. May P performed Bach’s Prelude in F on the piano. Luke S performed Brahms’ 2nd movement from Sonata Op. 120 on the clarinet. Katharine S played Bruch’s 2nd movement from Violin Concerto No. 1 Op. 26. May P returned to perform the 3rd movement from Trumpet Concerto in Eb by Otto. Nikolas L performed Chopin’s Nocturne in C sharp minor on the piano. Frederick F played Mozart’s Allegro from Sonata IV in E minor on the violin. Sumei BS sang Sweeter than Roses by Purcell. Nikolas L returned to perform Audition Piece for Trumpet by Zubiaurre on the trumpet. Clara W played Debussy’s Danse Bohemienne on the clarinet. Sumei BS returned to perform Syrinx by Debussy on the flute. Daniel L finished the concert with The Acrobat by Greenwood on the trombone.
