String Club preparing for the first Bryanston Virtual String Orchestra performance
Published: 5 May 2020
Bryanston’s String Club continues to meet remotely once a week on Wednesday afternoons during the lockdown period.

In the most recent online session, A2 pupil Poppy O-E gave a presentation on a video about Joshua Bell’s Huberman Stradivarius violin and Head of Strings Christina Scott led a practical online technical exercises session to improve pupils’ tone production.
Christina commented: “Outside of String Club’s regular meeting slot, pupils are busy practising and recording their parts to a string arrangement of Eleanor Rigby, which will result in the first Bryanston Virtual String Orchestra performance in the history of the School.”
