Adapted from Laurie Lee's classic novel, this stage play of Cider with Rosie takes us back to 1920s Gloucestershire where Laurie grew up with his numerous brothers and sisters, crammed into a tiny cottage, all under the watchful yet haphazard eye of his doting mother. The play takes us on a journey through some of his most vivid memories - some fond, some bitter - culminating in his first experiences of being in love with the play's namesake Rosie! A rich and luscious portrayal of post-war rural England with some larger-than-life characters and opportunities for this young cast to have some fun!
