Day eight of the hockey tour to South Africa included a surprise visit to the Knysna Elephant Park.
In the morning we surprised the girls with a trip to Knysna Elephant Park. We had a fantastic experience feeding and stroking them and it was definitely something none of us would forget.
That afternoon we made our way to York High School where the girls would experience playing on one of the nicest pitches of their school career. Both teams played extremely well against a very good opposition. The U18s lost 3-0 to an equally skilful but much fitter side. The U16s lost 1-2, but again were beaten by a fitter team and an unlucky short corner. Our goal came from Olivia after some great work down the right by Daisy and a brilliant cross into the D for a strong finish into the goal.
That evening we all went for dinner together in Knysna and had a very fun evening all together.
