On day seven of their hockey tour of South Africa the girls take a lagoon trip to Knysna Heads and have a taste of South African food.
We met the girls in the morning after an exciting night away from us with their host families and every single girl loved the experience. We all then had a very long journey from Cape Town to Knysna of about five hours. When we got to our hotel we had a quick turnaround before heading straight back out for our lagoon boat trip to the Knysna Heads. The girls had a great time singing on the boat and entertaining the locals.
That evening we had dinner at the hotel and a lot of people chose to eat a South African meal of springbok followed by milk tart. Some of the girls went for a late evening dip in the pool before having an early night after a long day of travelling.
