Day six of the hockey tour to South Africa sees the girls in action agaisnt Westerford High School.
We had another early start as we were supposed to be going to Robben Island. Unfortunately the rain in South Africa brings everything to a halt and the boat was not running. We all ended up being able to go back to bed for another couple of hours before heading to the aquarium for the morning.
We then made our way to Westerford High School for match number four. The U18 team played first and unfortunately experienced their first defeat of the tour, losing 2-0. Libby and Céire both had fantastic games. In the U16 game both teams were very evenly matched and the score of 0-0 reflected that. Strong performances came from Jasmine and Lauren. The girls them left us and went to spend a night with a host family.
