Incredible views at Cape Point and penguins at Boulders Beach: day four of the Bryanston hockey tour to South Africa.
Saturday meant no hockey! Instead, we had a day trip out to Cape Point, and Boulders Beach to meet the penguins. We enjoyed the most beautiful coastal drive to the furthest point of South Africa, stopping on the way to climb on some rocks and see some sea lions (Mrs Peck got a bit too enthusiastic and fell in the sea). We then arrived at Cape Point and took the funicular up to the top where the views were incredible. We were also lucky enough to see whales while we were eating lunch.
In the afternoon we went to see the penguins. We were greeted by some local children dancing and went through a small market place. The penguins were brilliant and the girls really enjoyed their lovely, relaxing day.
