English outside the classroom

Pupils with an interest in writing, whether as aspiring future writers or simply for fun, can get involved in a range of extra-curricular activities (ECAs). 

English ECAs include Text Message, where pupils can discuss aural, visual and written texts informally, and Creative Writing, an opportunity for pupils to exercise their imagination and receive guidance in writing creatively, from poetry to journalism.
