Woodwind Competition
Published: 15 November 2017
On Tuesday 31 October we welcomed David Campbell to give a masterclass to Bryanston's clarinet scholars and to adjudicate our woodwind competition.
As one of the leading clarinettists in the UK, David Campbell is internationally respected as a fine clarinetist and teacher. Jack Brymer once described him as "the finest clarinetist of his generation."
The woodwind competition was split into three classes; junior, intermediate and senior.
- The winner of the junior class was Molly P.
- Will E won the intermediate class, with Lewis H receiving a certificate of commendation.
- The senior class was won by Charlotte H and Will SB receiving a certificate commendation.
All the pupils gave a very good account of themselves and should be proud of the work they and their respective teachers have put in.
