C/D Bands Concert

On 1 February, the C/D bands concert saw some of Bryanston's youngest performers take to the Coade Hall stage for the first time.
The evening was started by Hannah M, who now seems a veteran of these occasions, despite only being in C. She performed two solo songs by Adele and Tom Odell respectively, before handing the baton to Katia MC and Mara F. This duo performed on ukuleles and shared vocals.
In terms of new talent, a C band featuring Rose M, Poppy T and Saskia L performed Postcards by James Blunt and a brand new D Band, comprising Alex K, Abe L, Florrie O and Fay G, played a fantastic rendition of the classic David Bowie song, Space Oddity. Last year's fabulous D band, involving May P, Eleanor P, Chris A and Angus P performed a fantastic Fall Out Boy track, featuring a fantastic shared vocal by both girls. The evening concluded with a great original song by Harry S, accompanied by Oscar F on guitar and Ben S on drums.
The turnout was high, the Coade Hall sound and lighting crew were awesome and once again our youngest performers overcame their fears and set the bar high for next year. Well done to you all.
