Winchester Cathedral Evensong

Winchester Cathedral played host to the Chamber Choir’s annual evensong visit this year, the first time they have sung there since 2010. The choir performed music by William Smith (Responses), George Dyson (Canticles) and William Harris (Anthem: Strengthen Ye the Weak Hands). It was a joy to hear the pupils perform in such a wonderful acoustic and they rose to the occasion with maturity well beyond their years.
The Chamber Choir are booked in to sing evensong at Chichester Cathedral next year and we are very much look forwarding to it.
