A2 music scholars give their last scholars' concert

The evening started with Poppy H’s performance on the piano of Brubeck’s Strange Meadow Lark. Harriet J sang, Where Corals Lie by Elgar. Eric H performed Sonata in D minor by Berkeley - 1^st movement: Allegro ma non troppo. Max H sang Hahn’s A Chloris. Sophia E performed Bach’s Sonata No. 4, Andante; Adagio and Allegro. Evie C ended the concert with a performance of Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1 - 1^st movement: Allegro non troppo.

Huge thanks to all of these fine musicians for providing such a fantastic standard of performances for all their five years of Scholars’ Concerts. It has been a pleasure and a privilege witnessing them develop into such excellent musicians. Thanks too, to the two accompanists, Graham Scott and Matthew Shenton.
