Pupils enjoy new social space

Over the summer some exciting changes happened in the Edwin Evans Music Room (EEMR) and pupils returned this term to discover a new social space.

Located in the old music school, the EEMR now provides much-needed, dedicated space for pupils in D, C and B to socialise and relax as individual year groups, with set times for each group to use the space. Timetabled events this term include film afternoons, discos for each year group and theme nights as well as simple chill-out times.

In addition, the revamped EEMR also aims to boost the social cohesion of the younger year groups by giving them the time and space to build those all-important friendships outside of the boarding house or classroom groups.

We hope the pupils enjoy their new social space and look forward to hearing of the fun they have and new friendships they create.
