Charity Walk 2016

Over 500 Bryanston pupils took part in the annual Charity Walk last Sunday, enjoying the chance to explore the Dorset countryside whilst also raising money for Street Child Africa.

Pupils were joined by parents for the 10km hike through the fields and woods around Bryanston, as well as an excellent picnic lunch in the sun. This year's walk also included checkpoints along the way, including a cookie stall and a group of buskers, all adding to the funds raised through sponsorship.

The walk was in aid of Street Child Africa, one of the charities with whom Bryanston has established a long term relationship. Street Child Africa has been working in a number of different African countries for a while and the school chose to support their work again with children on the streets in Zimbabwe, where the work and conditions remain extremely challenging.

Thank you to all the pupils and their families for their support. If you haven't yet done so, you can still donate to the sponsored walk here.
