Success at Indoor rowing competition

A mixture of new and experienced Bryanston rowers raced against four other schools in the boys J15 and J16 categories and the girls J16, where all races were 1000m. All competitors rowed a heat in each age category to which the fastest eight times qualified for the final later that afternoon.

In the boys J16, six BSBC boys made the top eight where Freddie F came 1st in the final with a lead of over four seconds. Henry H came 3rd in a tight finish. Tom D finished 2nd, nearly a whole two seconds ahead of 3rd place in the J15 boys category.
Four BSBC J16 girls were in the top 8 with Lucy D finishing 4th and other placed of 5th, 6th and 7th in the event. 

Coming away with 3 podium finishes and a 4th place, this was a fantastic achievement for Bryanston and is a useful indicator to where our rowers' fitness levels are at the present time.
