Christmas fun Showjumping

It was a huge amount of fun with pupils and staff getting dressed up in the Christmas spirit. The stables were decorated with fairy lights, holly and Christmas trees, with added seating for people to attend lunch.

The delicious lunch was made and served by Bryanston’s fantastic catering staff. Whilst munching through gammon baguettes, mince pies and pudding, parents waited to see if they had won a raffle prize.

The Head, Sarah Thomas, and the Rev’d Canon Haviland attended the lunch and drew the raffle tickets for the fabulous prizes donated by parents and local businesses. The raffle raised £375 for Portman Riding for the Disabled, which is held at Bryanston every Tuesday for Yewstock pupils.

A fantastic day brought new and old parents together, all watching their children jump in competition and a measure of what the pupils have achieved in their riding lessons this term.
