Bryanston pupils celebrate A level results

Congratulations to Bryanston’s A level pupils as they receive some very pleasing results today.

Pupils gained impressive grades in a breadth of subjects, particularly Chemistry (81.8% A*-B), English Literature (81.0% A*-B), History of Art (85.7% A*-B), Latin (85.7% A*-B), Physics (84.6% A*-B) and Religious Studies (87.0% A*-B).

On an individual basis, 29 pupils achieved at least one A* with four achieving three or more and 17 celebrating straight A*/A results.

Bryanston Head, Sarah Thomas, congratulated the year group saying, "The key thing for me on results day is that individual pupils are gaining the grades they deserve and are heading off to those destinations where they will continue to flourish academically, socially and personally. This year I am pleased to see – despite the alarm bells in some of the press about a depression in the higher grades – that this is again the case. I’m delighted for all the pupils who are today rewarded for their hard work and determination to succeed and wish them all the very best for the future."

These results come after a great set of IB results in July where pupils achieved an excellent point average of 34.
