U18 county indoor hockey tournament

Boys’ display superb effort at U18 county indoor hockey tournament

The boys’ hockey team recently took part in the U18 county indoor tournament.

Bryanston fielded a young and inexperienced side with pupils involved from each year and the boys displayed tremendous character, effort and resilience in each of their three games.
Starting off the tournament with a tough loss, the boys grouped together and bounced back with an outstanding performance. Playing some brilliant attacking hockey in the second match, and having led for most of the game the boys were unlucky to concede a late goal to rob them of a first indoor win.

In the final game the boys were brilliant, winning the game with great control. The boys created numerous chances and could have easily ran away with a big win if it wasn't for some great saves from the Clayesmore keeper.

All three games in this tournament contained valuable learning moments for the boys and I am certain they will benefit from this experience in the future.
