Pupils celebrate A level success

It’s been another day of celebration for Bryanston’s Sixth Formers.

Our A level pupils followed on from our IB pupils in gaining excellent grades and securing places at a wide range of universities. Our medical and veterinary science pupils have confirmed their places at their first-choice universities, and five pupils are going to Oxford and Cambridge to study Engineering, English, Natural Sciences, Philosophy, and Arabic and Persian. Other destinations for our pupils include the prestigious Trinity Laban Music Conservatoire and the University of British Columbia.

The Head of Sixth Form, James Ralphs remarked: “We are delighted with the results this year’s leavers have achieved. Given the national picture indicating a slight decrease in the number of A*-C grades, our pupils have done exceptionally well and our percentage of A* and A grades has held steady, complementing another strong set of IB results (with an average diploma score of 34 points). Well done all!”

The Head, Sarah Thomas, added her congratulations: “The individual efforts of our pupils, whether they studied A level or IB, have been rewarded with the results that will take them onto the next stage of their academic lives. And on results day it is only fitting to thank our dedicated and talented team of teachers and support staff.

"A levels are getting harder, and so I’m immensely proud of our latest Old Bryanstonians. They will, I am sure, achieve great things!”
