Bryanston oboist offered prestigious scholarship

Many congratulations to Bryanston pupil Charlotte, who has been offered the John MacIntyre Oboe Award and a scholarship to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Charlotte began learning the oboe when she was 13 and has continued her studies at Bryanston with teacher Anne Law, after joining the sixth form as a music scholar. During her time here she has had many opportunities to perform, at music scholar concerts at Bryanston, playing as a member of the Wessex Youth Orchestra at venues including the Birmingham Symphony Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and recently as a soloist at Bryanston's concerts in London and Poole Lighthouse. She also plays with the Bryanston Orchestra, Concert Band and the Wind Sextet.
