Duncan Curry is Head of Outdoor Education at Bryanston, responsible for the provision of adventure training, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Ten Tors programme and a range of outdoor activities on offer at the School.
Duncan spent two years as a climbing instructor in the Italian Dolomites before seven years at Marlborough College as an outdoor instructor. He has trekked and climbed in a range of areas, including the Cordillera Blanca, in Peru; the Indian Himalayas, The French and Swiss Alps and Iceland. If he is not in the office, Duncan - and his dog Star - may be found running or biking over the local Dorset hills, or hanging off the fantastic cliffs that Portland and the Jurassic Coast have to offer. Duncan organises trips around the country for the Outdoor Education department, inspiring pupils to discover all that is on offer outside of the classroom.
