Ways to give

There are many different ways to support Bryanston. Every contribution makes a significant difference and through the collective generosity of OBs we can continue our unwavering commitment to delivering a unique educational experience that only Bryanston offers. Here you will find information on the different ways you can give to Bryanston.

Single donation

If you would like to make a single donation, please download and complete the gift form at the bottom of this page. If you are a UK taxpayer you can make your gift even more beneficial for the school through the Gift Aid Scheme.

Regular gifts

Donating regularly on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis is one of the very best ways in which you can support Bryanston. It’s simple to set up, and payments are collected automatically. A regular gift allows us to plan for the future with confidence. If you would like to set up a regular donation, please download and complete the gift form at the bottom of the page, which also includes information on how the Gift Aid Scheme can make your donation benefit pupils even further.

Legacies

There are considerable tax benefits in making a gift in this way - bequests can be made free from Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax, so by making such a gift, you could reduce the total tax burden levied on your estate to your family. If you are thinking about a legacy or would like to know more do please contact Bryanston’s Development Manager, Amanda Lovejoy, on +44 (0)1258 484556 or asl@bryanston.co.uk.

Shares

Gifts of shares, securities or other property benefit particularly well from Bryanston's charitable status. The value of a gift of shares to Bryanston can be increased considerably through tax relief. Please contact Amanda Lovejoy in the Development office if you would like to find out more about making a gift of shares.

Payroll giving

As an alternative to a standing order, you can donate on a regular basis through payroll giving. This is a means of making a gift directly from your salary before income tax is deducted. As a result you will automatically get tax relief at your top rate of tax, with Bryanston receiving the gross value. For example, if you are a basic rate taxpayer, a monthly gift of £5 to Bryanston would effectively only cost you £3.90. Please contact your employer's own payroll department to find out whether they participate in this scheme.

Matching gifts

Many employers offer matching gift schemes, whereby they double or even treble donations made by their employees - in other words a gift made to Bryanston could be increased if an employer was able to contribute the same, or a greater amount. Please contact your employer's personnel department to see if they operate a matching gift programme.

Gifts in kind

Bryanston may accept gifts of property, art, literature and other articles, for instance, auction items for our annual fundraising dinner. Please contact Amanda Lovejoy or Aklema Begum in the Development Office to discuss how you could make such a gift.

US donors

United States taxpayers can donate through the British Schools and Universities Foundation Inc (BSUF), a registered 501c3 charity (Federal I.D. Number 13-616-1189) in the United States. Gifts made through the Foundation are fully tax deductible.
  • By cheque: Download and complete the US donation form at the bottom of the this page and send it, along with your donation, to the BSUF
  • By credit card: Donate via www.networforgood.org (you will need to create an account to complete your donation)
For our records it would be greatly appreciated if you could inform us of your donation by email. You will receive an acknowledgment from us soon after your gift has been granted from the BSUF. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Development Team via email or on +44 (0)1258 484556.

Tax refund gifts

If you are a UK taxpayer who has to complete a Self Assessment form, you can use your tax return form to donate to Bryanston all or part of any refund due to you. To do this, use the code SAP78TG when completing your Self Assessment. You can also choose to make your refund a Gift Aid donation.
