Pupil awarded Pro Corda place

Many congratulations to Lingling BS who has been awarded a place as a violinist on the Pro Corda Intermediate Course this summer.
The course, based at Leiston Abbey, offers talented 14 to 16 year olds the opportunity to test the waters with great chamber music repertoire and alongside other young musicians. Themes from Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Shostakovich and English Chamber Music have been explored over the past few years.
Alongside chamber music coaching, the students also enjoy high-level orchestral projects, visits to Benjamin Britten’s home, composition, dynamic rehearsal techniques, yoga, Alexander Technique and much more.
