Success in individual Senior Mathematics Challenge
Bryanston pupils recently took part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) individual Senior Maths Challenge with great success.
The Senior Challenge, run by UKMT nationally, is aimed at all 16-19 year olds studying mathematics and involves answering 25 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes under normal exam conditions. The top 60% of students nationally receive a gold, silver or bronze certificate in the ratio 1:2:3 with the top performers invited to take part in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 or the Senior Kangaroo.
Congratulations to all the pupils who took part and particularly to George L and Bertie EW who qualified for the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 and to Shirley H, Eric H, Rory H and Alice P who qualified for the Senior Kangaroo.
