Bryanstonians celebrate Oxbridge successes

We were extremely pleased to hear that five Bryanstonians have received Oxbridge offers or places in this round of UCAS applications.

A2 pupils Freya and Harry, who have both received offers from Oxbridge universities.

Our congratulations go to pre-applicants Harry EW (Maths, Clare College, Cambridge) and Freya T (English, St Anne's College, Oxford) on their offers and to post-applicants, Georgia H (English, Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford) and Rachel S (History, Somerville College, Oxford) on their confirmed places for 2016. We were also delighted to hear news of Ellie A (Pk ’14) and her place to read Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University.

All of these pupils have also contributed generously to the life of the school beyond the classroom throughout their time at Bryanston, whether as musicians, actors, sportsmen and sportswomen, prefects and so much more. They have all taken full advantage of every opportunity they have been offered and we are delighted that their hard work and dedication have resulted in this impressive achievement.

Head, Sarah Thomas, congratulated the pupils saying, “I am very pleased that the individual effort and talent of these remarkable pupils and the support of our dedicated staff have been recognised by Oxford and Cambridge. They have enriched our school and will go on to enrich their university. I look forward to hearing news of all the other offers flooding in to the rest of the year group. Well done to them all!”
