Junior Admission
Most pupils join the School at 13+, having taken either Scholarship or Common Entrance examinations in May or June of their year of entry. Children who have not been prepared for Common Entrance may sit the School's own Special Papers in English, Maths and a modern foreign language (French, German and Spanish papers are available).
Unless admission is dependent upon the award of a scholarship, all prospective pupils should be registered in advance. A non-returnable fee is payable at the time of registration. Eighteen months before entry, parents are asked to pay a deposit (credited to the last term's account).
If space is available it may be possible to join the School's Second Year, for the start of GCSE courses. Candidates will be required to demonstrate appropriate academic ability.
